Police Sniper - Basic

October 26 – 30, 2026
Location: Lavonia
You must have written permission from your agency head, or his/her designee.

While this is a Sniper - Basic course, you must already be familiar with your chosen weapon system, and it zeroed at 100 yards(accepted calibers are .300, .308, .338 and 6.5).  

Successful completion will certify you with POST as a police sniper for active service under your department's policies. 

Upon acceptance, you will receive the course requirements and a list of recommended equipment.

This will be a physically demanding course, and limited slots are available.
